Open-source licences & model notices
Artemii is built on open-source software and open-weight AI models published by others. This page names them, says how Mayfair uses them, and gives their licence notices.
How Artemii is built
The Artemii models (Arlo, Lucian, Orion and Curzon) are built on open-weight AI models that their creators publish under open licences. Mayfair adapts and configures those models and combines them with its own instructions, tools, safety settings and software to create the Artemii models and the Artemii service. The four Artemii models are different configurations tuned for different kinds of work and balancing depth of thinking against speed.
The underlying models remain the property of their creators and are used under their licences. Mayfair does not claim ownership of them.
Open-weight language model: gpt-oss
Artemii currently builds on gpt-oss, an open-weight model released by OpenAI under the Apache License 2.0. Its creators also publish a usage policy for the model; Mayfair's Acceptable Use Policy applies in addition to it.
OpenAI and gpt-oss are trademarks or names of their respective owners. Artemii is a separate product, is not made, endorsed or supported by OpenAI, and any faults in Artemii are Mayfair's.

Image model: FLUX.1 [schnell]
Pictures are made with FLUX.1 [schnell], an open-weight image model from Black Forest Labs released under the Apache License 2.0. The notice in the section above applies to it too, and the full licence text is at apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0. Mayfair runs it on its own image machine. Black Forest Labs does not make, endorse or support Artemii.
Model runtime: Ollama
The models are run with Ollama, open-source software released under the MIT License. The MIT License requires this notice to be kept with the software:

Typeface: Inter
This website and the Artemii app use the Inter typeface, served from Mayfair's own servers, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. A copy of the licence is available at /fonts/INTER-LICENSE.txt.
